Duties:

The Zoning Board of Appeals considers applications for appeals of decisions made in the enforcement of local ordinances and laws. Their most common duty is to make determinations related to applications for area variances. In the granting of such variances the Zoning Board of Appeals strives to preserve and protect the character of the neighborhood and the health, safety, and welfare of the community. The Board, in the granting of variances, imposes reasonable conditions and restrictions as deemed necessary to minimize any adverse impact on the neighborhood or community.

Meeting Time and Place:

The “ZBA” meets on the last Monday of each month at 7:00PM in the upstairs of the Town Hall located at 6210 South Livonia Rd., Conesus.
